Old source code?
Hi
I used to do a bit of coding back in the day. I was wondering did much source code for well known demos ever get released publicly? Seems a bit sad maybe but Id love to take a look at source files and see how some of the stuff was actually done. |

If you still have any of your old programs/code, please consider uploading it to Aminet for preservation.

The problem with a lot of this "source code" is that it's resourced.
There's a big difference between source code that was originally written by the programmer, and a disassembled version. |

I agree. Id love to see some of the comments from my old stuff but then again it would probably be very embarrassing now. Disks are long gone sadly.

You can download the source to my Bomb Jack Beer Edition game.
http://109.228.4.199/BombJack_Final_Source.7z Not all of it is commented but the bits that kept me sane are. ![]() I think alpine9000 also released the source to "Else we get mad".. search around and you should be able to find it. Geezer |

That is a great resource to learn the amiga hardware,I learn't a great deal from those ![]() I actually prefer not having everything commented, the few comments in the code(like the site above) is enough for the general concept of what's being accomplished, the uncommented code is there for you to study/follow through and think <-- doing that will guarantee you have a 100% grasp on what the code is doing.
