I seem to recall so called AUDIO CD-Rs work better to and maybe if you burn them in slow speed. The audio CDRs are meant to work better in old CD players like those found in many cards. (And CDTV.)

Try Branded CDR

If you can try discs from many different manufacturers as old systems like the CDTV have lasers that will probably only like certain types of dye formulations. I know Verbatims Dark Blue AZO dye worked well on many old consoles including the CD32! |

Most important more info. How exactly are you burning these iso's? Are the iso's ok, you could try them im WinUAE under CDTV config. Generally if they dont work there then there is something wrong with iso. Does it just go straight to CDTV logo or CD Player? |

Don't know about the NTSC CDTV I obtained a few days ago, but my CD32 has had no issues reading burnt CD-R discs. I guess re-writable discs wouldn't work though.

Just tested it. My CDTV is able to read CD-R discs.
