Help getting Quartet running

Hi,
I can't seem to get Quartet from Microdeal running from 1990.
I have added the adf here:
http://eab.abime.net/zone/quartet1.adf

I tried Amiga 2000 in amiga forever and it hangs one the second loading picture. It prints 2 blocks of graphics garbage when it hangs.

I tried on a real Amiga 1200 OS 3.1.4 and it hangs on the first ui screen (it gets a bit further). But I can't seem to move the mouse pointer then to load or save a music set.

Couldn't get the disk you uploaded to work either. The cracked version from TOSEC on the FTP works fine though: http://grandis.nu/turransearch/searc...0&httplinks=on

EDIT: Which seems monumentally stupid as it even checks for Hard Drives!

Ok thanks, i got the TOSEC one to work on emulation. Next step is to get it on the A1200..

BTW, Does the main screen not scroll to the right when you play a song? I thought I remember it did.

ie like how most trackers scroll down through the set, does Quartet not scroll right? I hear the music playing okay ... but it is just a static screen.

Quartet was more popular on the Atari ST as it gave them a way of playing music with samples.

Once Soundtracker and its other variants took off on Amiga, Quartet was relegated to simply a curiosity for most
