CORRUPTION (Magnetic Scrolls) conversations

I've just started getting familiar with this adventure game but already ran into a problem. As you may be aware, the original game came with a cassette that contained vital conversations about the plot. Though I managed to find the conversations in mp3 format (if you're interested: they're on the "Home of the Underdogs" site in the "Manual" section of the Corruption entry), but my English isn't good enough for the task to completely undestand them.

Could someone please write down the text of these conversations? Or, if they're already available somewhere on the net, could someone tell me where?

Thanks in advance!

well you can find the solution (not the script of the tape) here http://www.gamesover.com/walkthroughs/corrupti.txt but it might be useful

Many thanks for the link - I'll surely use it if I'll be stuck in the game -, but unfortunately, it doesn't have the information I need. I'd like to try to solve the game myself, and understand the whole plot in he process. But the script of the conversations on the tape would be crucial...

Still, thanx again!

How long is it? If it's not too long I'll try to do this for you when I get some time free

There are two different conversations on the two sides of the tape (available currently in two mp3 files), each of them is appr. four minutes long.

Now what is *THIS*??

Side A seems OK, but side B seems to contain excerpts from the dialog recorded on side A which are now put into a completely different context; not to say "confusing as heck".

"I can't see there's anymore to discuss. Good-bye."

On side A, he says that to a third guy who is on the phone. But on side B, he says that to Derek!

What's the big idea?

Ooops, sorry Bolch... Got caught up in other stuff and haven't had the chance to do this for you

"Note to self"; don't reply to a thread unless you have the finished product at hand...

Did you try using the software that Dizzy suggested?

No need to hurry... Since I rediscovered the Amiga 3 months ago, I made it my goal to complete - or at least, try - every single Amiga game in existence (excluding sport games, maybe). So I can wait for a few days or weeks - I simply put Corruption a little down on the list.

I tried the software, but unfortunately, it didn't work for me.

These files represent recordings which the player finds during the game as he tries to uncover the sophisticated plot against him. It may be that some parts in the first conversation are deliberately wrong or incomprehensible, and only make sense when the player finds the correct - or more complete - version.

@Bolch: Apologies, I've been extremely busy over the past month or so and therefore haven't really had the chance to write the conversations ...probably still going to be crazy all this month with work, unfortunately this means most weekends as well

Yup, thank you for that andreas though haven't read through it etc... You should really post them here anyway for now. I'm sure they're pretty accurate

Many thanks for the text, Andreas! Skimming through the script, it's obvious that I couldn' have figured it out myself... it's a great help, indeed!

Finally had some spare time today so took a crack at this

Can be hard at times to make out some of the words and who exactly is talking, well especially on Side B anyway...

Does anybody have the time to go over what I've written down and correct anything as necessary?
