Block X or Y axis of the mouse

I’ve decided to give a concerted effort to complete Wolfenstein using Nova’s excellent port but I’d love to have mouse look enabled in it (or at least something that, for all intents and purposes, behaves like mouse look) which got me wondering if there was a program I could run before starting AmiWolf that’d allow me to select to ignore the Y axis (vertical, in case my 30ish year old maths has failed me) input of the mouse so in the game the mouse only moves the point of view left or right.

Does such a thing exist?

I can think of MultiCX which allows this, but you have to use a qualifier key. The relevant tooltypes are HoldXQUAL and HoldYQUAL. Comes in handy in Workbench sometimes and paint programs etc.

Not convenient if you have to hold another key down however in your case. Besides, the game might use the mouse input directly in which case it wouldn't work.
