Question what are the 'best' audio caps for A4000 ?

know quite a few electronic techs that swear by a certain name brand over another etc. so asking the Amiga experts here what do you think is the absolute best type, brand etc. of capacitors to use specifically for audio for the A4000

I wouldn't be too fussy about it, it's not exactly a high end piece of hi-fi equipment we're talking about here.

If you want quality, go for Japanese. Panasonic, Nichicon, etc.

I beg to differ...I care more about my A4000 than any piece of hi-fi equipment I own

btw, true I agree about Japanese products in general are of good quality

Do you mean the two 22uF caps that should be installed in reverse? If so I would recomend these, as well as the rest in this series as well. They are polly and will not leak. You will get a lifetime of use out of these.

SMD 22 µF 35 VDC EEHZA1V220R 5 pcs
SMD 47 µF 35 VDC EEHZA1V470P 10 pcs
SMD 100 µF 25 VDC EEHZA1E101XP 1 pcs
SMD 10 µF 50 VDC EEHZA1H100R 1 pcs
SMD 4.7 µF 35 VDC EEEFK1V4R7R 2 pcs
Through Hole 470 µF 25 VDC EEUFR1E471 2 pcs

My point is, using budget capacitors is going to produce an audible difference on a high end piece of audio equipment. On something like an Amiga, which is outputting very low quality sound, even the cheapest Chinese caps you can get are going to sound pretty good. In fact that's probably what Commodore used in the first place.
