Need good icon editor
I look for a good icon creation app for AmigaOS / MorphOS with full support of Newicons. I tried Iconian, but it's unusable under MorphOS
Do You know one? |

Why not use the OS3.9 Icon Editor?
Then if you need for some reason to convert them to NewIcons, there is probably a utility to do that, not sure what the point would be though considering practically everything supports the OS3.5 format by now. |

Don't have any classic OS for now.
Is the icon created under OS3.9 compatible with old 4-colour icons systems?AFAIK Newicons have an option to display even on systems with old icon.library. They can have alternative 4-col images built in. |

The GlowIcons system is very similar to NewIcons in that regard - it supports both old-format and GlowIcon images. The 3.9 icon editor lets you switch between the two, editing both as you like.
Given that MorphOS essentially uses PNG images for its icons, why not use something like PersonalPaint to create the imagery? It's far more powerful than most icon editors, and there are many tools for converting icon images to and from different formats. |

Nope, I'm afraid I can't think of one off hand that does all 4. I was thinking mainly for MOS, not needing the old images too.
The OS 3.9 editor does GlowIcons and old icons, and supports the clipboard so you can copy your brushes from PPaint, but it's not automatic. Still, perfectly doable for a few icons. |
