Amiga 3000 SCSI -> 68 pin?
Hello.
I have a A3000 which has 2 SCSI disks (50 pin). It is working properly. On the other hand, I have: an adapter 50 female / female 68. A 68-pin SCSI cable. 2 68 pin SCSI disks. I can connect the adapter 50/68 to the motherboard of the Amiga, then the cable 68 and then 1 or 2 discs of 68? You must use a terminator? If so, what type of terminator? Thank you. |

Yes, you can. Connect a 68 pin terminator to the end of the chain or enable termination on the last drive.

First, thank Jope for the reply!
I can use this cable which includes terminator? I can leave connectors unplugged? http://www.amazon.com/Adaptec-149082.../dp/B003FFLCI6 example: Mother A3000->adapter 50/68->Scsi cable->Hard Disk with out terminator (this model not include terminator)-> cable connector free-> cable connector free-> cable connector with scsi terminator Last edited by Franchute13; 30 April 2015 at 16:23. |
