FastATA and Iomega ZIP

Debated whether this was a hardware or software issue, but I'll start with the hardware in case I've missed something obvious.

System: Amiga 1200 running OS3.9 (BB4), Blizzard 1260, 64M RAM, Mediator with Radeon, Network and Soundcard. Everything is working perfectly apart from this one small issue!

Backstory: I was using an IDEFix buffered IDE Splitter and associated software in my A1200 until this week, when I finally fitted my Power Flyer Gold (or FastATA Mk2 as it's more conventionally known).

I've installed the latest drivers from the Elbox site, and everything is actually working really well. Well, except for the ZIP drive.

Using IDEFix, it was hooked into trackdisk.device and worked as a 100meg floppy from a usability point of view. Utterly painless, which was great!

Using ATA3.driver it is still hooked into trackdisk, but is actually being treated as a conventional 880k floppy. I can't see anything I've set to cause it to behave like this - and I'm really struggling to find anyone who has fixed the problem. All threads seem to end before any valid fix is posted!

Anyone experienced this? And if so, how did you resolve it?

Double post for fun!

I added the PC7 mountlist supplied with the FastATA to DEVS: DosDrivers and the ZIP drive can now read PC formatted ZIP's, seeing the full 95 meg available.

Until you reformat it, then it formats it as a 720k PC floppy. Gnng!
