Manfred Trenz
Does anyone know how I can get in contact with Manfred Trenz? I think he'd be a great person to interview for Matt Chat.

If you keep this up I'll see you doing an interview with Peter Molineux one day "Yeah Fable 8 has got this fantastic real life simulator and..." "No Mister Molineux. I want to know how you got into Amiga programming in the first place all those years ago?" "Amiga? That's a great idea for the next Fable! You can get married and have kids and such! Wait, that sounds vaguely familiar... Oh well, perhaps I should start thinking about giving your pet's pet a pet in Black & White 4." |

He doesn't want to talk about producing pony games for the DS, I can understand that.

Did he give any reason?

He said he had personal reasons, but it sounds like he's refusing all interviews, not just the one for me. It is a shame, because Turrican just doesn't get nearly the attention it deserves.

Its probably because of Turrican he doesn't want to do the interview.
As far as i'm aware Turrican was his baby that got taken over by someone else where he can't even continue to make any future Turrican games, and that probably pisses him off royally (to be expected), and for him to do an interview, one of your questions would surely be an enthusiastic "So when do we get to see a new Turrican game? "What happened to Thornado?" (Turrican in 3D) |

here's an idea: why not try to get an interview with Chris Huelsbeck in stead? Judging from what I've seen so far, he is a lot more forthcoming about his projects, which would include the awesome Turrican music of course

Cool idea, the music was what initially drew me in when I first played the Turrican 2 demo.
The game wouldn't be the same without that, not by far. |

Perhaps Great Giana Sisters was a sore point too...
...or Nintendo have him under a gagging order. |

Old thread, but it looks like it could have ended up with THQ.
The site you linked TCD, is also down now. It does look like he lost control of the game. That could mean it's ever seen again :O |
