Have you drawn inspiration from any other games in particular, Rastan or Shadow of the Beast, for instance? |

Long time no news here:
Here we go again: [ Show youtube player ] I show off the game starting up to the first mid boss and a bit on. Game runs on a smooth 50fps and uses only 512k/512k with vanilla machine speed. No accelerator needed. Please forgive a few of the glitches that are still seen, this is heavy WIP at the moment. Music and SFX are muted in this little presentation, since I will work on this later on in one big batch. Please switch on the "1080p60fps" quality option in your Youtube viewer, so you can see how smooth this runs. Game will be released late in November. Cheers, wish you a nice weekend, guys., |

Looks really good.
Do the heads keep bouncing at same height permanently? I'd suggest the bounce lowers after each bounce, then a short roll and then head stops. Bouncing heads remind me of the bouncing balls in ik+ bonus round |

When I first saw the video I was under the impression this was still meant to be AGA. Was quite surprised to read you made it for OCS after all! Is this dual playfield? I'd guess player and the sword UI above are both sprites, right? Overall quite impressive stuff! |

This looks fab on the video. I'm guessing there's not much blood as there isn't a pen left for red? And purple blood would be a bit Klingon...
I'm getting Metal Slug feels from it for some reason (not a bad thing, must mean it's more Neo Geo like than Amiga-like!) |
