Connecting CDTV Remote Controller to the PC.

Is there a way to use CDTV infrared controller with PC/WinUAE?
I was going to do some research on the subject, but it seems that the hardware is not well documented.

I've got the information somewhere... I can dig it out. i.e. Frequency & what the control codes are for each button etc.

It was received fine with standard set-top-box IR receiver.

Best thing though is to just buy an IR receiver for PC to start with.

Any docs/information would be appreciated. I've got a cheap USB irDA adapter and my ThinkPad has a FIR+SIR irDA module, but I don't have a CDTV remote controller at this moment

I'm pretty much sure if you had a scanning / learning program on your PC you just point the remote at it and press each button in turn and the code will be displayed.
