Looking for Poing 6 ADF
My first post and I'm looking for help already!
I have spent hours looking for Poing 6 in ADF format but have zero luck. I can find every other version but not 6 - even on coverdisks! I really loved this game years ago and wore out more than one mouse because of it but now I have a laser mouse and I want to see if it can take the pnishment that is Poing 6! Thanks in advance for any pointers, P |

I will try to fit it in ADF if you want.

I dl'd it from Aminet last night. I tried to create a new disk in AF 2008 (WinUAE) but the emu jsut kept on telling me to insert volume POING in to any drive - which I had done! If I don't suss this I might take up the of s2325.
BTW: Is Poing 7 any good (I suppose that's a silly question!)? |

Yes that is a silly question
Must admit I've never played number 6, but I do like 7 a lot, includes a level editor too (not sure if 6 includes that). Worth a go definitely if you like Poing. |

Yeeha! I copied over the Poing 6 files over to an adf image and it works. I'm very happy - thanks guys.
I also tried Poing 7 but for some reason the levels won't load up even though I've copied everything over to the adf image (just like Poing 6). Still, the music sounds good - I think Paul Van Der Valk maybe used different algorithms to generate it in this version. It's great to have my wee Miggy back! |

I think on Poing 7 you need to specify the level set you want to load so I'm not sure if you've done that? I don't have the info to hand right now (I am meant to be working, after all ) but I'll have a look for you tonight and see if I can remember how it works.
Glad you got Poing 6 working though |

I`ve made a Poing7 adf that lets you choose the Levels from a simple menu, I`ll put it in the zone for all

Thanks very much! This is really appreciated - It's great to see the Amiga community is still kicking and still sharing...it's been a while since I was around (about 6 years ago!).
Thanks guys. |
