I can`t believe what you are doing for all of us, but please stop.
If it would be the only possibility, fine, but it`s not.

The Kryoflux was sold out but it is expected to be back in stock today.
Basic edition costs 99.95 Euro, premium edition is not listed rightnow but was with cables and power supply 127.95 Euro plus shipping. Also the floppy drives are needed which are cheap.

I read that a third person is also dumping. The person that works the longest per day needs the most drives or even all, so the others can take a break and then exchange the drives.
How many Kryoflux do you need? 6, 8 more?

I´m sure a lot of users will help so you don`t have to work like this!
I can send you some cash via PM with a Paysavecard number.

@ all: Do not send both anything rightnow. Let`s see what they think.
the kryoflux can make ADF, but the Amiga can do it as well. the kryoflux is intended for copy protected disks mostly.

For such an amount of disks, better use the Amiga directly.

Well ... not that we wouldn't like owning a kryoflux, I do have a massive original games and software collection also that at one point needs to be done but I don't see the advantage here for now (Although at one point we will need one for the protected and borked disks ) .

It's not going to go faster as it is now with a kryoflux or not, we have only two hands. I just use an external drive that I hacked with a fresh pc mechanism from Sony that I modded ... goes just fine and if it fails there is always that spare pile of pc drives ready to go in.

And as we speak you can see it goes pretty fast because here's nr 23, 24 and 25

It's very good, we use it all three to make the ADFs ... but nothing is perfect in life. I feel it really needs to do "boing" when an ADF is ready ;-)

Not we, not the names of our ADF files at times and probably not the way we are handling this ... but it's the way it is, as good as it gets.

If you want to help I guess the man to talk to is dlfrsilver here as we go a lot faster than the time needed to clean it up.

On the other hand, the disks are going nowhere and what's the hurry anyway :-)

It's actually slower to do it with a KF, as it samples multiple revolutions per track. More accurate in case you manage to get the correct checksum for bad data, but for warez disks Diskripper is just fine.

Inb4 someone starts teaching me how to adjust the number of revolutions in DTC. :-)

It's just that the web page was updated already this morning with the latest batch, why would you think it's not been updated?
They need time to adf a disk box full of disks and then update the web site, you won't get them any faster.

SimonV & Co, I just want to say a big thank you for doing this.
I know how tedious imaging boxes of floppies can be.

Ah, ok. How long does it take to image one disk with Kryoflux compared to normal imaging?
