Any Amiga commercial game developers/programmers here?

EAB has many active members. I was wondering if you are one of those that had worked on or programmed commercial game(s) back in the good old Amiga days? If so, which game, what was your involvement, etc.?

It would be nice to think, "Wow! I had played that game a lot and here I am, talking to the developer/programmer who did it!".

If you'd rather remain anonymous - then no worries.

Note: If there is a thread like this already - I couldn't find it.....

Hi quahappy,

My only claim to Amiga fame was working on "Blobz" as the musician/level designer. My friend coded the game in Blitz Basic and did all the heavy lifting, 3d renders/gfx etc. It was a fun creative time, lot's of great ideas, half made games, lot's of beer drinking and playing Worms DC :-) There should also be a PD game knocking about on Aminet called "Super Ballz", I did the music on that one too.

If I have any regrets about those days it would be the music quality. I lacked the focus and consistency back then, If only I could go back and do it over again with what I know now...

I was involved in, say, six or seven games afair. Elf Mania is probably the most known. Mainly doing compression and disk systems i.e. very very small roles (nb. none of my loaders was ever released.. you know the thing when publisher goes boom before getting the game out).

He's being obtusely shy, he wrote both Abandoned Places games, and I think had something to do with Piracy on the High Seas.
