Puzznic - controllable by mouse?

Hi,

does anyone of you remember if Puzznic has ever been controllable by mouse or by joystick only?
Mouse moves jerkily around and behaves exactly the same on any emulator. This doesn't sound like an emulator problem, but the "symptoms" look rather as if someone tries to use a mouse instead of a joystick without support from game's side.

I'd say Puzznic is a joystick only game. It was so on the C64, the PC and the NES so I'd guess it would be on the Amiga too. If you connect a joystick to the mouse port when in Workbench it will move strangely too.

I know.
I just thought Puzznic has mouse support (like Shiftrix for example) that can be activated somehow. Pity. Thanks for the info anyway.
