Thanks for all the replies.

It took me about 50-75 hours to do the schematics and layout the components on the board, and about 250 hours to route the board.

Sure, I can publish the files so others can purchase the PCBs and also continue developing the project. I wasn't planning to be the only source for the PCBs anyway, I'm more interested in doing new hardware than sell PCBs. But first I would like to offload the remaining PCBs I have left to recoup what I have invested in this. After that I'll put the files on GitHub.

If anyone is interested, I have 9 boards left. I would be asking 100 EUR for a piece + shipping (shipping is about 30 EUR in Europe). I'll put a sales thread on Amibay.

hese, you are a true hero Honestly, I am deeply impressed by both your reverse engineering and PCB design skills and also because of the fact that you are going to open source your work. This is nothing else than awesome

Off topic discussion moved to http://eab.abime.net/showthread.php?t=91697 .. I will not bother merging any new posts about that subject, they will just be deleted from this thread.

As much as I was enjoying the derail, I didn't notice that the A4000-cr did away with the 68020 gal socket, have you considered modifications to perform Meutoxo's 64MB/112MB memory modification? Or just file this under 'future plans'?

Just finished building and troubleshooting mine. A year ago, I had never picked up a soldering iron...
