A3000D replacement PSU
Have anyone successfully replaced the original (noisy) A3000 PSU PCB with
a modern replacement and fitted inside the original PSU case? |

Yes, People have done that. You can also just replace the fan.

I put this one in mine after I blew it up by accidentally shorting 12V to GND.
Fits fairly neatly inside the A3000 case (only held down with one screw as it's about 2 inches shorter than the 3000), the original 3000 fan will connect to it with no modifications and it has a -5V line which most ATX PSU's lack. https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Seventeam...72.m2749.l2649 |
