A1200 green and blue blinking screen

Hi,

My Amiga 1200 is defective. When turning on the display is some sort of green screen, and it blinks to blue and back to green...........endless.

It hapens on all video out ports and also on RF. Also changes psu but no luck.

Any ideas where to look or what to replace or resolder?

kickstart produces some color error code. blue / green looks like chip-ram/custom chip problem.

#1) do you get the flicker, when Workbench is started - it might be the video dac rightside of the RF box.
or the sony chip below the RF box.
any leakage of the capacitors around them?
some images of that area will help those, who could really help you

the budgie chip and oscillator show some little wear, but i've checked the pins and they seems okay

i would say, these are the kickstart color error-codes.
on those older machines, chips came with sockets, so you could try to push them a bit.
you could try so with the kickstart chips, but carefully.
do you have an expansion which were pluged onto one of the custom chips?
this could have made some micro cracks on the pins.
with some hi-res images of the motherboard, someone may find some issues on the board.
some closeups around the capacitators and the budgie chip.
