Update 10 the link for it seem to broken any chance for a fix for it, or is it now surplice to requirements now. Thank you very much again for your effort and time for us Amiga fans

I updated the URL as I told people to delete the <gamedir> "Phalanx II - The Return" but forgot to include the new one with .IPF

Sorry again, there seems to be a issue with Parasol Stars I go to play it when I push the button for the umbrella it seems to use a cheat to clear the screen. Now I have made sure that I have not accidentally activated any cheats but the issue still happens, and idea please.

That's weird; just tested and all was good here.

Are you using the default "Keyboard Layout B" or have you connected your own joystick / joypad (if so press the first button to automatically switch over)?



...I also turned the cheats on, <Return> skips levels.

I switched the game ports to use an XBOX 360 gamepad in port 2 and in port 1 keyboard layout b. Is this the problem I might be happening?

Shouldn't be; not home at the moment so don't have access to my Xbox 360 wireless controllers.

Why did you set "Port 1 = Keyboard Layout B" though; unless you are playing a 2 player game and don't have a second controller?

Here's a note from the first post about using joystick / joypads:

I always thought that you had to use port 2 for a joystick on the Amiga regardless of if you are playing 2 or 1 player game. Port get set to either keyboard or mouse function.

Usually on an Amiga you would have a mouse in the 1st port and a joystick in the 2nd port.

If playing a 2 player game then you would connect a joystick to the 1st port instead of the mouse.

Well, that went faster than expected. Downloaded and installed. Now then, a question. What did the setup install outside of the main folder that is tied to the user account (registry settings, etc)? Since the setup required elevation to administrator as setups normally do, it installed the settings for the administrator only. I dragged the icon from the admin desktop to my standard user desktop, but unless I also right-click the icon and choose "run as administrator" WinUAE just loads as it always did, without all the custom configs. Will just copying the WinUAE key from the administrator registry to my standard user registry be enough, or is there more I need to copy over? Thanks.

EDIT: Pulled the Arabuusimiehet key from the admin registry then added it to the user registry. It now looks as it should, so it's time to give it a test drive...

I guess you're using Windows 10? You shouldn't need to be an Administrator but if so, is your account not an Administrator on your own computer?

Maybe your UAC settings are set as default and have never been changed? I always set the following:

You could also use the "WinUAE.ini" instead of having to apply the "WinUAE.reg" file.
