So who here's an industry veteran?

Sorry mods if this is the wrong section, but I'm just wondering how many of you folks here are Amiga industry vets (Amiga magazine employees, hardware/software developers) as opposed to just home users?

Just interested to know, as a Johny-come-lately it's clear some of you folks go back a long time.

Worked at Zeppelin Games during 1991/92 for 6 months.

Brian didn't like the Kung Fu game I made on the C64 so I got the sack (not that they had to pay me as I was on a YTS).

Went into IT after that.

I wonder what would have happened if I'd applied for a job at Tiertex or Amiten.

I was grafician for GameBoy Advance games, for Germany based company Shinen. Probably from 2000 to 2005.

I was using DpaintV.

After that I got a regular job for a non videogames sector, just meanwhile I did stuff for mobile phone games for a couple years more. Those years I switched DPaintV for Promotion on PC

Amiga programmer - Finished off Premier Manager 3 Deluxe for Gremlin Interactive when the original programmer decided one day to walk off the project and not come back.

Part of Binary Emotions for The Speris Legacy that was released by Team 17

Rescued Putty Squad for System 3 so it could finally be released after 20 years.

Here they are. For Iridion games I used Lightwave for sprites and background graphics. Just the other grafician joined everything in 3DStudio.

Cool! Did you work on Premiere? The animation in that game was awesome.

small off topic : hope the script writers are taking care of the scenario. Maya the bee is nice for kids (I loved this anime/cartoon when I was a kid) but first movie was dumb - thus we skipped the second movie.

Regarding the topic : not an Amiga programmer, only PC (but this was a previous life - long long ago...).

As a teen i poured through Amiga games and looking for cheats, and level codes and making games walkthroughs and guides. Then i gathered them all up and created:
Ami Cheats
http://www.trep4.com/amicheats/

I went on to become a professional programmer, however, by the time i graduated the Amiga was in a coma so i never made anything for it. Perhaps someday i'll fire up my A1200 and make something for it.

Having worked on all three films, I think they're getting better each time. Never knew the original anime though, so can't speak to accuracy.

I figured there would be. Along with all the professional relationships and rivalries that come with that.
