SCSI Terminating resistors

Hi Guys,
I need to purchase some scsi terminating resistors for my Amiga 3000 to go on the MB.

What type do I require besides them being 8 pin?

Thanks,
Stephen

I think there are two kinds of terminators:

1) The kind you are talking about go onto the SCSI device itself.

ALSO

2) There are the kinds that go onto the ends of cables too, basically after the last SCSI device.

Not sure if there are any of the 50-pin type any longer without salvaging something, I've seen the kind go onto the Fast SCSI cables however.

Doing a quick Google search brings up a lot of matches.

http://www.amigawiki.de/dnl/schematics/A3000.pdf page 15.

You could also just plug in a 25pin external active terminator to the rear scsi port. This is what I have done with mine.

I took the resistors from an old SCSI hard drive that was dead and put them on my A3000 motherboard and they work fine. I guess i got lucky finding them on that drive. My rev 6 A3000 came with the resisters already on it, my rev 9 didn't have them...so I added them.

Added an external SCSI 25 pins terminator. Which gets swapped sometimes with an external SCSI tower. I rather do that then to open the Amiga every time I change something externally.

Thanks guys. Now I just need to find a place that either has stock or doesn't want 1000% times more in postage than what they are worth.
My A3000 is naked at the moment, so access to the mb is not a issue. #-)
