CWB "tweaked" on a Pi3b

Hi all, I posted this on the facebook AmigaPi group, just the screenshots and had a lot of good feedback, I guess i'm just showing you how nice Amiberry can be using CWB if you put a little time and effort into it, probably not for everyone but just showing you never the less, peace

It would be a very good starting point for many if you'd remove the rom and WHD files and hosted it somewhere. Or write an article in detail what you've done here.

Or both.

I did consider doing that, but Workbench itself is still under copyright so I would still be infringing it even if i removed all roms. The only way I can see to do it legally was if the CWB guy added my files and system to his setup script which prompts the user for kick roms and workbench etc..

Yes, it would be nice. Or a small video if you prefer

This is why I've almost stopped posting screenshots - instant nagging about uploading disk images.

Oh, and if you are "dumb kind" enough to do that, they start nagging about support.

Can you point out exactly who is nagging here?

Looks really great. I wonder how did you get the workbench to look so sharp at that resolution? I tried to scale CWB but it is still blurry at 1080p for me.

Would be nice to see a basic guide.

It looks good, but how does it actually run?
Performance is everything.

keito like we discussed HERE it would be better to use the icons without the bad shadow gray and replace the old icons with the new PNG, perhaps double-sided.

@AMIGASYSTEM, Yes I agree, this will be on the list of things to do to this image, should get a chance to work on it this week. At this stage i'm tweaking things like you pointed out and trying to squeeze performance without losing any visual lushness.

Which brings me to @Akira, right now for what it is it's pretty fast. But many easy gains can still be made in a number of areas, icons being one of them, which are on my to-do list soon, aim is to have it looking lush but still have that responsiveness of Amiga Workbench that we all know and love.

I guess for me personally i'm making an optimum amiga setup that scales to the Pi3s available power and amiberries accurate emulation. may as well have it looking and running at its best, and it's been a little project to keep me distracted from some other projects I have multiple configs based around this high end one, so it can scale down to 720p and even standard Amiga screemodes, but with some concessions obviously.

With tips from AMIGASYSTEM & Peterk (thanks!) I am now using much cleaner and nicer updated Drawer Icons A few other small tweaks by me too, this is running very fast and nice, still more to do though
