Project: Making A600 as A500-compatible as possible

This would be a fun little project...
I have a rev 1 A600 with kickstart 1.3 and no RAM upgrades nor HDD, it's kind of good for old demos and stuff.... But I do get some glitches here and there, so I see it's not that compatible after all. I mean, quite often too, so there must be something in the newer platform design ruining the good old A500 compatibility. I've exchanged all the caps and stuff, so it's not that.

(Can I piggyback custom chips on top of others, or does this act as bitwise OR, thus the bottom chip will ruin it all?)
Any way to take a Denise from an A500, make a PLCC adapter and fit it in an A600? Same for Fat Agnus, if needed. Do you think this would solve the graphical glitches I am getting on certain demos?

Any ideas or comments on this? The only reason I have the A600 is because it's like a tiny A500, thus I want to make it as compatible as possible -- no matter what I have to do.

Another thing to talk about: The memory configuration.
On a stock A600 the 1MB is configured as chip RAM -- any way to route the second half (512kB) as fake-fast, just as the A500...? Or doesn't this have anything to say in compatibility?

I know if you bought one of the A608 RAM expansions in some of the configs you can map RAM to $c00000 a la A500 trapdoor

Possibly not common OCS/ECS Agnus difference but can't be sure without names of demos.. (This isn't A600vsA500 difference, A500 with ECS Agnus have same isues)

1M chip RAM (without any slow ram) generally causes only stupid "get 512k expansion, not enough ram" messages.

I think most degraders could make chip to fake fast; just used Degrader and TUDE and I think they both did it and kept it reset resident for floppy games.
