Leander: read the cracktro's instructions.. (and disk 1 = boot disk, disk 2 = disk 1 etc..)

Leander - I just CANNOT get this game to work! I followed the intro instructions, the game loads past the intro, then goes onto the "extra mem detected and used" bit, then...nothing, just a black screen. The screen doesn't "flash" as mentioned in the crack intro or anything. After waiting for ages with nothing happening I tried inserting disk 1 into dfo but no joy, I then tried disk 2 in dfo but again, nothing.

I'm using a standard A500 ocs config bt. The incomplete - 3 disk Leander works fine...

Here's a working config; as you can see I used an older version of WinUAE when creating it but I tried it with the latest version and it works just fine.

Thanks a lot for the config, man, but still no joy. What do other people get after the "extra memory" message?

Black screen, loads ~10 seconds, ~5 second pause and finally "Travellers Tales Presents..."

No Toni, the order is:

"Travellers Tales presents", followed by the "Leander" on a white background screen, then the picture of Leander being attacked by a dragon, THEN the "extra mem detected" screen, then the black screen. I've left it for ages and it still stays black, no flashing,... nothing. I'm desperate to play one of my all time fave games so ANY help appreciated. And thanks to those who've tried so far...

Correction to my last post, my default config for wb has chipset:
fast copper and immediate blitter ticked but when cycle exact emulation is enabled.... leander graphic is displayed correctly.

After "extra memory detected and used" comes "Travellers Tales Presents" in small blue fonts on black background and then short animated intro. (not the "attacked by dragon"-intro)

Maybe your images are broken or different.. My version is cracked by Company and trained by Legend (4 disks)

My copy is the same as Toni's, and it works with the config I attached in my previous post.

I even updated HOL with some screenshots!

Mine is definitely the 4 disk Company crack - the extra mem bit comes AFTER the intro on mine?! Can anyone put their version in the zone for me?

I'll ask again; is anyone willing to put their working Leander in the Zone for me? It would be much appreciated.

Thanks mate, but that doesn't solve the problem cos the Goonies version is an incomplete crack (you can only play as far as level 1.4, then an important platform is missing and it's impossible to progress further). I need a working Company 4 disk crack, which is a fully working version. Thanks for helping though...

Ok, didn't know that it was defect... checked tosec though and there was a goonies leander disk (disk1 i think) marked bad, which i skipped when i upped leander to the zone..

I have a company crack of leander from latest tosec, i haven't played it through so i can't guarantee it 100% but if you want i can upload it..
