Can't get WinUAE to register my ROMs

I hope there is a simple fix for this.

I have saved my ROMs into a folder within the WinUAE folder and then gone to PATHS >> ROMs and set the correct path to find them.

However, WinUAE won't recognize them and lists all ROMs saying each one is unavailable.

Can anyone help please?

Thanks!

Either your roms are broken/unsupported or your path isn't right (let's hope it's the second ) Make again sure that the path points to the location where your roms are stored and that they aren't in any subfolders.
Btw : Which version of WinUAE do you use?

If you are using the Amiga Forever ROMS, make sure that you have the rom.key file as well.

Ok, I'm using WinUAE v1.5.3

I do have the path pointing to the correct directory
I do have the rom.key in there as well.

I have the 1.3 and the 2.04 ROMs with the correct revision number that WinUAE asks for.

Any ideas?

I don't have Amiga Forever myself, but I think the kickroms and the rom.key must also be in the Amiga Forever paths. There is a thread about this here, but I couldn't find it now

Got it working now guys, thanks. I just changed the paths a few times and pressed ENTER to re-scan the paths and suddenly it recognized them.

At least I'm not here when I'm sleeping (and I do sleep, whatever people may say ). But like Rabbit said there is (almost) always someone around who can help or give some hints where to look

I have a habit of leaving too many computers switched on and logged into things - so I tend to be online somewhere even when I am sleeping..
