Disposable hero guru
Hello, i am experimenting the Kryoflux of a friend to see if i am going to order one. For now i encounter a lot of games that are not working.
I have a question about "disposable hero" (id 1367), we transfered it with his Kryoflux. The games systematically crashes with the error #00000003.00c0621C. I tried the IPF with WinUAE 2.5.1, selecting several possible chipset (my A500 is a K1.3+ECS (agnus or denise i don't know)+512Kb slow extra ram, all is fine. The original game doesn't work at all on my A1200. I encounter a guru on my A500 with the cracked version located on the EAB server (i don't remember if the error is the same) but all is working like a charm on my A1200 with the cracked disks... So any idea why the original (and cracked) game isn't working on my A500 ??? Thanks a lot in advance for your help. |

You need to use double sided disks. High density disks are not the way to go.

...plus the fact, that it does not have any integrity checks during loading, so if you are not lucky, some of the files read by the game will be corrupt.
