List of active Amiga Sites...

Seeing how alot of Amiga websites are closing , does anyone care to list some ACTIVE Amiga websites...

...also would you agree that since there are sites that have the entire TOSEC collection.. many Amiga sites have closed... maybe the webmasters have thought "there is no need for me to provide software anymore"???? - your thoughts

Why should an Amiga Website provide games?!?!

I browse Amiga sites for information, and that feeling I had from my Amiga 10 yrs ago!

If I need games, I use an FTP (my own LOL)

The sites with Amiga reviews, and HOL are of most interest to me, even tho I recently dried Tom Tom of all his WHDload installed games

Unhappy Sites that have gone...

Some of my favorite amiga sites have closed. AmigaMOS for example: It featured an extensive list of Amiga-related sites hosted by hobbyists. I have found many gems when clicking on the links on that page.
Another favourite is 'Andy's Amiga rarities' which featured rare Amiga games and a site called 'Amiga Ninja AGA' (or something similar) featuring AGA only games. May they rest in piece. *snif*

Lucky my site is still online. Expect a HUGE update (over 100 new reviews) somewhere in march. There is still life yet.

That only applies to sites which do nothing but provide a huge list of downloads and nothing else. Just like the others in this thread, I'm looking for information.

As for sites closing, it's not an Amiga-only phenomenon. All 'scenes' dealing with classic gaming have been shrinking for well over a year now, no matter if there is something like TOSEC related to them or not.

(shameless plug)

Searching for games information? Do a quick search for Hall Of Light. It's the most complete amiga games database i've seen.

No need to tell that to me - care to have a look at the contributors page?
