Oh goodie, goodie a board based on a dual-core processor that even the latest version of AmigaOS can't use to its full. Oh wait... there's no mention of an OS... *HOW* strange.
I guess the judge has to see something. |

Too bad Amiga Inc. does not employ even 1 single Amiga programmer to port Amiga OS over to this new imaginary hardware.
Does anyone really think that AmigaOS is just going to magically port itself to work with PCI Express? I doubt Bill McEwen could even get Linux ported to this hardware, were it to ever actually exist. One final question: Why is Bill McEwen allowed to post news announcements which are obviously fraudulent? |

There are no 2x lane devices out there. (They are all 1x, 4x or 8x) No PC's (that I have come across) have x2 lane slots (they have 1x, 4x, 8x, 16x). 99% of non gfx card devices are x1 lane because that is all that is left on a consumer PC after all the "onboard" peripherals are added. I've had a real problem getting motherboards with anything other than a 1x lane slot. Maybe if it was an 8x slot wired as 2x then there is a *slim* chance it would work at 2x lane speed with cards which are 4x and above. Most cards which cannot operate at their intended lane width default to 1x lane. |
