PCMCIA to USB adaptor?
http://cgi.ebay.com.au/2-Ports-USB-2...QQcmdZViewItem
Would this sort of thing work on an A1200 using the same software in place for the CF adaptor? Probably not, but just thought I'd ask ![]() PZ. |

Nope. It's Cardbus which is 32-bit PCI rather than PC-Card which is 16-bit ISA.
There is only one PC-Card 16-bit ISA USB host and that is the Oxford Semiconductor CFU950. I sent some samples to Chris Hodges and Michael Boehmer of E3B a year or two ago together with the source code for the software. I doubt it will ever make it into an Amiga product ![]() |

Its Cardbus, I'm pretty sure the amiga wont support cardbus stuff anyway.

Hi,
A nice idea for sure. ![]() FWIW: I seem to remember a thread on this subject quite a while ago... ...after much googling general consensus was no 16bit -> USB card was ever made. (a shame). |
