did you not mod the washer-drier, thus invalidating the warrenty anyway??!!

So the blue Catho-ray tubes, and the awesome paint job doesn't count.
You also upped the RPM of the motor to spin it too didn't ya

Only 3 weeks, normally it takes a day. ONE whole day, past the expiry of the warranty to break!

Some of those washing machines use 68000 chips - have you considered getting a WHDLoad patch made?

@Zetro,
haha, if it is anything like mine, I'm sure the washing machine can make awesome car noises.

Your alowed to do anything you want, till it breaks that is, then they will complain about you even using it!.

Customer Service Department:
"What, you mean you actually turned the device ON!, that isn't part of our normal wear and tear, policy. As soon as you use the item, all warrenties are null and void."

Expensive technical Things breaking soon after warrenty expiration happens very often.
It might be another case of Murphys Law, but i believe that some Manufacturers use a evil
Timer-Subroutine in their Microcontrollers to trigger a Kind of Self-Destruction.
My old 19" CRT Monitor broke like 3 days after warranty expired... beat that.

@Ohforf

geez, i bet that bites!!!!!

the good news is today the chap was over to fix it.... had to replace the 3 phase controller board.... it was black and well... lets say toasted....

I asked if it was humidity or perhaps water.... he said no its just one of those random things...

if one could see the amount of carbon scoring from 13 juicy amps can do to a small PCB.... i am surprised there wasn't a fire... scary....
