So the RAM arrived!

I got this Phase 5 Blizzard 1230 IV, it was in one of the Amiga A1200s I got in in the eWaste bin.

Anyway, it had a 64MB stick that was the wrong profile size in it. I ordered this low profile 128MB stick for it. Can’t wait for my recapped Amigas to come back and I can try it out!

Now all I need is the companion SCSI controller and I can add another 128MB module on it to give me 256MB!

Probably best to post these threads under the support.Hardware section of EAB

...not really Amiga.scene i.e. "Comment and discuss about the latest news, rumours..."

Does anyone know if could be possible to make a daughter board without the scsi controller but only with another simm socket to get 256mb easily on the blizzard?

If I was still a GMod then all this would have been fixed already

You may also want to resize / shrink that massive image that you posted; it's way too large for people to see.

You may want to resize / shrink that massive image that you posted by 65% or something; it's way too large for people to see.

A Blizzard 1230IV in an e-waste bin.....
That card is a beauty, and it even has the FPU installed .

I have 64MB in mine. Never filled it. Very good, reliable, and compatible card.
I remember paying $140 for 64MB Ram stick back in the late 90s.

I might want to do the same for my 1230IV. Exactly what sort of RAM do I need for this?
