Q: How to save options in WinUAE configuration

I want to save all the options like the video output, disk drive sound emulation, etc. No matter what I try, I load a config and have to set everything up manually again. I have Amiga Forever 6.0 web version.

Use the save button in the configurations tab. Type a config name and click it. Also get the latest winuae from www.winuae.net. I don't know which winuae version is there on af6.0 but winuae saves host configurations seperately for a while. To save/load only the host settings, use the save button in the host tab. After you save a host config, you can link it to the main config by selecting it from the link box in the configurations tab.

AVI output parameters are not saved, I at least, didn't code that in yet. Thinking to self, I really ought to just turn WinUAE into a frame server and let third party apps take care of the compression and miscellaneous crap, one of these days.

Old thread, but I have had to do this for the last ten or so years.
The first thing is says is I have no ROM file, even though it was selected and the configuration saved last time I used it.
Then I need to select RAM, HDD directory, display options, etc. every time I run it.
Then for kicks, I save the configuration every time
