Die Kathedrale Manual
Years ago, I owned a copy of Die Kathedrale by Software 2000. Even though I've spent many hours playing the game, I was never able to finish it. The only thing that keeps me from finishing it is that fact that, even though I still own the disks, I lost everything else including the box, map and manuals. Do you know where I could possibly find those manuals or is my only chance to buy the game on eBay?
Thank you! |

OK, first of all, after some in-depth checking, I'm absolutely sure that:
Some (or all) of "Die Kathedrale" documents on amigamanuals.xiik.net were stolen from HOL!! No credit, nothing. Lovely. For example, compare: "2550_manual6.pdf" (HOL) = "Die Kathedrale - Krypta-DE.pdf" (AM) (368,477 bytes) You think that's what you were looking for, but you CANNOT solve the game that way yet. You absolutely need the cathedral's chronicle, which unfortunately has not ever been scanned in. The "goodies" image was taken from TheLegacy.de. The missing book is the brownish one on the lower left: Without the chronicle, you're doomed to use a walkthrough. Since you might find yourself in a library with 2000 books and you have to know WHICH book to take out. These hints are found in the chronicle, which is the core "copy protection" of the game. Well, I think it's time I request a scan of this, as I hate incomplete manual sets. Last edited by andreas; 06 May 2011 at 21:34. |

Yes, I'll think about that.
Meanwhile, my eternal gratitude goes to user ratterpat who kindly uploaded the WHOLE chronicle book in a quality the French would call "nickel" (something like "excellent++" ) |
