Here's such a solution for ARexx with TurboText: http://aminet.net/package/text/edit/ARx_Help1_0

It should not be that hard to rework to call the autodocs instead.

Thanks for the hint! I had a look at it and noticed that is an old version (1.0). The one included in latest ARexxGuide is newer (2.0a). In case someone is interested. Beside TurboText there is ED and Edge and tutorial if you want to support other editors.

I think I found a bug, when assembling a large file a bit less than 28000 lines, assembling work but when I try to save the object file (wo) all the OS freeze.
Work find under AsmOne 1.48.

This is also broken with Asmone 1.02 and Trash’mOne 2.0 work fine with AsmPro.

Maybe a few small ones, but if so the list of features in the download should still be complete.

I have a "PC mode" toggle switch that I've tested but it probably needs to be tested more. Some of this is in that, and some of it is in both modes:

And simple shift+arrow keys selection (left/right - by letter, up/down per line)

This makes editing much faster and user friendly.
The mode is mostly because Amiga mode uses Shift for navigation, PC mode uses it for selection = mutually exclusive.

I may well update AsmTwo in a month or three, but my first prio at the moment is organizing Scoopex.

@kamelito the Editor is the one in the Assembler. A mode is already in to e.g. cut line with Ctrl+X if nothing is marked, shift+click to select text with mouse, overwrite if text is marked while typing, Ctrl+V etc. remap to PC binds. This should be done with care and taste.

There is also a code analyzer I want to finish to allow things like immediate feedback and a few quality of life completions of repetitive tasks, etc.

I will try to get time to do these things, current version is old now but as always it's the one I use when I code.

I hope to add an ambitious realtime Syntax-parser that can instantly calculate time & space and optionally format current line or text block.

In answer to my own thread I've noticed lately at work that I can't live without two things, Cut current line without marking it, and Select word under cursor. (I think I've already added those to AsmTwo.)

The workflow for the latter would be something like
  1. Click or move cursor to text
  2. Grab word (+Copy if necessary)
  3. Move to another word
  4. Either Paste (prefix), Grab+Paste (replace), or Paste+Space+Grab+Cut (swap)

It can be configured in Scintilla etc and it's really useful if you haven't tried it

Multiline editing (block edit mode) is a feature of most modern editors that are great. Refactoring tools are good too, though it's a bit trickier to see the application for assembler source editing.
