sound prob in winuae 0.8.21r4

it was quite some time since i ran the win uae the last time...
so i was quite suprised when all sound is like FF on an old tape recorder...

does anyone have an idea why ? it wasnt like this before. i have tried different games an it turned out all the same (FF).

is it because i run winxp instead of win2k ???

I've always found that the speed at which the sound played at was most closely linked to the refresh rate (I think the Sound and Video is processed by the same chipset on an Amiga. Makes sense...I suppose?

). I find setting the refresh rate (found under the Display Tab, Amiga Screen Resolution) to 50 or 60 Hz helps, failing that use Default. If WinUAE automatically tries to assign 100 or 120 Hz, that's when the sound gets speeded up. Fiddle about with the sound buffer size until the sound is okay, maybe the delay slider too. Hope that helps!

If you have Vsync ticked try unticking that option.

Vsync only works with 100Hz or 50Hz.

yep it worked when i turned vsync off
