Amiga live streamers - index?

Just wondering that for those who have an interest in that sort of thing (and I appreciate not everyone does), it might be convenient to have a reference of people who live stream Amiga-related activity, whether that's on Twitch, YouTube or elsewhere. There seems to be more Amiga streamers than there used to be even a year or so ago which is great, but it can be difficult to gain traction or any sort of serious visibility.

I do stream myself these days so this is partly self-promotion but if anyone contributes (whether that's themselves or others they know of) I am very happy to update this post with hopefully as complete and up-to-date index of streamers as possible. That way you can follow/sub (depending on platform) to people at your leisure

--

LIST:

Graham (Norwich Amiga Group leader, hence the NAG) -
https://twitch.tv/NAG_Graham

Streaming Mondays and Thursdays 20:00 GMT, (plus the odd unscheduled one) usually from real Amigas, and occasionally other platforms too (ZX Spectrum, C64, Mega Drive, SNES, PlayStation). Streaming old & new games for Amiga and other systems.

Streams most Sundays at 19:00 GMT. Lots of Amiga news, chats, gameplay previews and generally excellent stuff

Pintz & Amiga - https://www.twitch.tv/pintzandamiga

Based in Texas and streaming from Amiga hardware every Saturday at 20:00 GMT (complete with alcoholic beverages), plus occasional streams on the likes of Dreamcast and MSX plus AmigaLive online community tournaments.

AmigaLive - https://www.twitch.tv/amigalive

The channel for the AmigaLive app that allows you to play Amiga games online - also letting you stream your game via their channel. Additionally, they run multiplayer game tournaments at the end of every month.

Hitch - https://www.twitch.tv/retrohitch

Regularly streams from his ACA-powered A500 - both old and new games, as well as streaming from other systems such as the ZX Spectrum, 3DO, Sega Saturn and others.

Amiga For Mortals - https://www.twitch.tv/amigaformortals

Streams from his Amigas (including his orange A600) on a CRT monitor, plus using his very own joysticks too, usually on Wednesday evenings.

The Retro Hour - https://www.twitch.tv/theretrohour

Ravi from the excellent podcast The Retro Hour does streams from his Amigas (including MorphOS) - even the odd DJ set with Amiga mods too.

Namcos https://www.twitch.tv/namcos

Streaming old magazine coverdisks and various games from around 21:30 GMT on Mondays.

Retro Passion - https://www.twitch.tv/retropassionuk

Streaming from real Amiga hardware complete with CRT monitor from 20:30 GMT on Mondays.

Betajean - https://www.twitch.tv/betajaen

Streams around 18:00-20:00 GMT Mon-Fri. Plays any adventure game that works on his vampirized A1200, even Mac games via Shapeshifter VM.

Hayesmaker64 - https://www.twitch.tv/hayesmaker64

Mostly streams C64, but occasionally fires up his A1200.

Kalastelija1 - https://www.twitch.tv/kalastelija1

Fin/Eng language Amiga streamer. Sporadic schedule.

Hoffman - https://www.twitch.tv/djh0ffman

Amiga streaming every Friday - 19:30 CET/18:30 UTC

Mixel's Lab - https://www.twitch.tv/mixelslab

Currently streaming development of his Scorpion Engine game, Creeping Me Out: Hex Night.

Earok - https://www.twitch.tv/earok

Hawkeyex28 - https://www.twitch.tv/hawkeyex28

Retro game streaming, largely focused on Amiga but not exclusively (SNES/GBA too).

Streams game development stuff but also does Amiga gaming streams too.

Beanhed 81 - https://www.twitch.tv/beanhed81

retroDemiurgi -https://twitch.tv/retrodemiurgi

Streams Amiga games all the way through (currently playing Enemy 2), plus AmigaLive, and other retro systems such as the NES.

Otter Retro - https://twitch.tv/otterretro

A unique EMU-VR experience, featuring plenty of Amiga games recently. Rather different presentation to most streams I have seen so well worth a watch.

Ashens - https://twitch.tv/ashens

Ashens is, well, Ashens. Does all kinds of weird and wonderful stuff but is certainly fond of terrible Amiga games and is also playing through Assassins PD disks on Wednesdays.

Kim Justice - https://twitch.tv/kim_justice

Another YouTube retro gaming legend, and also a big Amiga fan as you'll see regularly on Kim's streams.

Rage Against The Retro - https://www.twitch.tv/rage_against_the_retro

A couple who stream retro games, often two player games but sometimes solo too. They cover a big variety of formats, often on real hardware, and the Amiga certainly features in that.

AmigaRuns - https://www.twitch.tv/amigaruns

Focusing on speedruns of Amiga games but also C64 and DOS too.

Antaeus000 - https://www.twitch.tv/antaeus000

Amimmortal - https://www.twitch.tv/amimmortal

New streamer, streaming from a heavily modified Amiga 1200.

CharlieFar - https://www.twitch.tv/charliefar

Seemingly an arcade game God - but also often streams from his MISTer too and splits his attention between many platforms - the Amiga certainly gets more than a fair airing.

General retro streamer but does have plenty of Amiga-focused streams - doing an A-Z of Amiga games
.
StreamstackTV - https://www.twitch.tv/streamstacktv

Streaming Amiga games from a Mister FPGA.

Fatter Agnus - https://www.twitch.tv/fatter_agnus

Appears to be a pretty new streamer but does stream from real Amiga hardware - an A500+ and an A1200 with Vampire.

Ash Said Hi - https://www.twitch.tv/ashsaidhi

Streams Amiga on Saturday mornings - fun and chilled out.

Morgan Just Games - https://www.youtube.com/@MorganJustGames

YouTube streamer and incredibly talented at games - so well worth checking out for his impressive ability.

LumKitty - https://www.twitch.tv/lumkitty

V-Tuber who plays a variety of games, including Amiga and BBC Micro as well as more modern stuff.

Y4wning Angel - https://www.twitch.tv/y4wning_angel

Quite new to streaming (although not to making videos) and plays Amiga games on real hardware as well as ZX Spectrum too.

Retro streamer including Amiga - plays games without any help except for what's written in the manual.

Radio Paralax - https://www.twitch.tv/radio_paralax

Twitch channel of web radio for game & chiptune music - playing games from Amiga and other 8 and 16-bit systems.

HoolioGames - https://www.twitch.tv/hooliogames

Personally I think this is a great idea. I rely on EAB for updates on those doing streams or chance finds on YouTube.

We need more content like this and it is fantastic for the Amiga community.

However, since views generate income would there be any case for some funds being directed to support EAB eg if there was a referral link so the traffic from EAB was appropriately accounted for?

No different to people whoring their youtube channels out.

In the unlikely event streamers see loads of links coming from here and want to do the decent thing (if they even make that much money from amiga streams - guess it depends if Graham has his cosplay outfit on and his cleavage showing ) then they can feel free to donate or not.

Thanks - I also figured that for people who don't use social media channels, they may miss out on a lot of stuff they may be interested in as most of it goes on there.

I think Ian covered the second part - also it's fair to say I don't make lots of money from this, it is a hobby and what I do get paid has gone straight into the kitty of my user group Which is not to say I cannot support EAB too of course!

Thank you - added to the list! I have got more that I will add later, but obviously any suggestions welcome regardless.

Should we start another thread for Amiga-related OnlyFans accounts?

Great idea!

And already follow what you mentioned :-)

We stream every Monday 20:30 which is Amiga Monday!

https://www.twitch.tv/retropassionuk

This is not for us to gain subscribers but simply enjoy playing Amiga games as we only see the hardware and to be able to sit down and enjoy the games is what we get out of it.

Any subscriptions we get would be but back into other streamers which we actively do :-)

And don't forget:

Oy, I did not need that image in my head. I don't know what Graham looks like (guess I'll find out during the next livestream) but anything to do with cosplay and chest hair is just wrong.

Thanks to everyone for their suggestions - I have now added these, some of which I was going to include anyway

I've just updated the list to show Amigos Retro Gaming, Pintz & Amiga, AmigaLive, Hitch, The Retro Hour, Namcos and those mentioned in this thread. I have a few more to put in later too.

I hope you don't mind me to add here my stream at
https://twitch.tv/walkerogr

I stream every Friday at 7:30 CET / 6:30 UTC only Amiga content

I absolutely agree with that comment and I wanted to mention that I keep a support page at https://ko-fi.com/walkero, for anyone who would like to buy me coffee and keep me awake, for the applications I develop and the content I create.

But the most important is that at the end of every month 50% of the donations are donated back to the community, to developers, projects and people who support our community. You can find detailed posts of the donations on my ko-fi page. And this month, a part of January generous donations will definitely will go to EAB.

Apologies - I somehow forgot to include you even though you were on my list! Rectified now

More added - thanks for all the suggestions so far. Also some new channels for myself to check out too so that's always a bonus.

Just a quick message to apologise if my earlier donation message stirred anyone the wrong way. I appreciate there isn't much revenue from these and quite rightly it keeps the scene active.

Once again, fantastic idea as there are loads of streams I wasn't aware of!

No, not at all - it was not an unreasonable question and certainly not taken the wrong way by myself, at least

Actually I did rush my first response since I was on my lunch break at the time, but I feel it might be useful to add that - certainly on Twitch - we don't get any revenue just from views. Non-affiliated streamers get no money directly from Twitch at all, but those of us who are affiliates really rely on subscriptions and bits for income, and even then Twitch take 50% of subs for themselves. Although there is ad revenue, it is pretty abysmal (for instance, my channel has been monetised for almost a year and the total I have made from ads is under $7! I certainly don't command a huge audience by any means, though).

And referral links wouldn't be practical, I think - not that the amount made would come to anything meaningful

Hope you enjoy checking out some new streams!

You are very welcome! And I am glad quite a few people seem to find this useful. There are certainly a few of us out there.

If you have a Twitch account don't forget to give these folks a follow

Added two more to the list (any additions will be at the bottom so should be easy to find).

More suggestions welcome - please provide a link and possibly a brief description if possible Cheers!
