What is the best version of CED for 68k Amigas

The title say it all, What is the best version of CED for 68k?
I’d say that the menus are confusing, they do not feel right to me.

If CED 3.x menues confuse you I suggest trying CED 4.2 instread... personaly I think I've been damaged by exposiure cause I kind of preferr the older nonestandrad menues of earlier CED when editing on the Amiga.

And if you're looking for a small footprint editor with some of the most usefull features still present I suggest taking a look at Redit 2.0.

CED v2 (because it works on 1.x and all upper versions)

TurboText since it uses normal menus and shortcuts.

Yeah I read an old usenet post and a programmer stated that he tried 3.5 and got back to 2.12. Is 2.12 the latest 2.xx version ?
I just have the exe is there a complete version of 2.xx somewhere?
AFAIK only version 5 is commercial you can’t buy older versions.
