A1200 Floppy Failure.

Hi, as I am new here I have probably put this in the wrong section so please be patient with me.
Ok..I have two A1200's that have failed floppy drives, I have two PC floppies..
TEAC FD-235HG
NEC FD1231M
...I have trawled through the available mods and not found these listed as there are I guess loads of different revisions.
Can anybody help me please..I looked at the nice mods listed by kipper2k and am hoping that there is something available in such an easy guide.

First try to repair the original drive.
Clean the head and if that does not work try changing the drive capacitors.

Drive capacitors, are these the little electrolytic capacitors on the drives circuit board.

If you can't find out how to mod those drives or repair the original there is a floppy adaptor available at www.ianstedman.co.uk/Sales/sales.html, (first item for sale on that page). Works brilliant, I have one in my A2000.
