A certain quote from The Castle seems appropriate here...

I have original Street Rod II ... somewhere at my parents place (which is where amiga is) was the most disappointing purchase ever on amiga... my brother paid like $80 for this and it is all but unplayable... couldn't finish a damn race it drove so bad!
If it isn't already in caps I can make an image if I don't need any special hardware. |

Great!
The minimum requirements is simply an Amiga with a 68020 CPU. I'll send the rest of the details to you personally... Thanks very much! |

Yes, but take a look at the version number, there might be older ones out, though unlikely being a port.

We have exactly that, so dumping that disk is not needed. Thanks.

Ok now i got some probs
Firstly it seems I can only do this via pc2amiga on stock 1200 this right? (not enough ram otherwise) ... is there no way to go direct to hdd or to compact flash? Then I couldn't use pc2amiga with winxp ... so got my old win98 laptop out ... but i keep getting a packet error on the amiga side... saying it couldn't send data for sometime or something... I remember getting this when i transferred my adfs, but it used to work when i hit retry... couldn't get it to work with this so i couldnt finish any images... any ideas? |

Yes, if you do not have at least 5Mb of RAM, you have to use the PC2Amiga rather than the direct -> HD option.
And yes, unfortunately PC2Amiga does not work on XP. But people have had it working via emulation... About the reties, I am not sure. I have only got those when my PC and Amiga config are not matched (one using serial port, etc.) Anyone else got any ideas? |
