GBS8200 on CRT?

I prefer to use a CRT for my Amiga but if I select Super High Res screen mode the screen flickers so much that it's unusable. Would the GBS8200 fix this flicker or is it for something else entirely different?

the GBS-8200 is a RGB to VGA converter, if your CRT monitor is a VGA monitor then it can be useful. It's not a RTG card.

I can't say if it fixes the interlacing you're experiencing, as I haven't tried that on my own.

if noone answers within the next 10-15 min I'll have made a setup to test interlacing.

EDIT: uploading a video on how it looks like now

Thanks for that mate.

I use a Sony Triniton for my A1200, unfortunately it doesn't have a VGA port, would I be able to use a VGA to RGB Scart adapter and get the same results from the 8200?

it does.. but doesn't look good on my 4:3 monitor...
and the flickering, when there are movements, seem more sensitive than the vid posted above.
