Didn't like Prey that much, too repetitive for me. The portal stuff and anti-gravity were gimmicks, not much more. With some better level designers the game could have been very cool, as the technology certainly was.

Go for Undying - now there's a 3D shooter game with real substance. I wish more games were like that.

Assassin's Creed 2.
not bad a game, considering.

they tried to make it more varied than the first episode with some interiors, some static puzzles but both these features look pasted on, not really consistent.
the puzzle idea is cool, but they are too easy, straight forward and not really satisfying.

the interiors have exactly the same problem even if it sounds strange.

that said, the towns and country designs are simply beautiful and more articulate than those of the first episode.

the game though lack the charisma of the Assassin's Creed 1: the main character is nowhere as cool as Altair, Italy is cool but not as exotic and raw as Palestina.
The dialogues are possibly too many, or at least not very interesting: the action is cut too often
More importantly, combat is not as easy to control as in the past, it gets a bit confusing.

summing it up Assassin's Creed 1 was more captivating and tight than the 2nd one, but the latter is still not bad, and more varied, just too much out of focus.

Completed Crysis. Nice, but a bit too long so becomes boring at the end.

Been playing Bushido Blade 2 on PSX yesterday with a friend - What a brutally awesome game, and very original!

Pro Evolution Soccer 2010 (XBox 360) online. A lot. And failing.

19 wins out of 74 games - enough said.

Well, I did not like it so much as there are too many human enemies and when aliens came, the weapons you have are almost useless.

Yeah, I remember problems with aliens. Hopefully many of them you can avoid.

Returning to Metal Gear 3: Snake Eater (PS2)

I tried Alpha Protocol but it looks as mediocre Mass Effect version in current times.

Right now I'am playing Double Edged, a nice little flashgame from Nitrome. It's a well made Golden Axe "clon". You can play it here: http://www.nitrome.com/games/doubleedged/
Highly recommend for all fans of Golden Axe. I like it.

I've just finished "Gun" on the Xbox (Update 6th June) Finished game 100% but can only find 42 out of 44 Hidden Gold!

I virtually ignored the release of this and only picked it up recently for £2 so again it is one of my Xbox bargain basement games!

It was a lot of fun to play but the side missions were a bit repetitive and I suppose it is only a GTA game on Horseback but the story is good and it has plenty of action and a couple of tough Boss fights in Reed and Magruder...!

I am just finishing up a few side missions after completing the story - not sure if I will mine all the Gold though...

I enjoyed it and it is definitely worth picking up if you see it on the cheap

I tried Cryostasis but I tihnk I will not play it until end. I fell it boring. I also dropped Necrovision, it was so boring too ...

EDIT: about Alien Breed Impact... it seems nice but I think a new AB3D would be better
