Emerald Mine II
Larrie and the Ardies in the zone. The others are probably part of any compilation. |

You can get the preinstalled WHDLoad version of Astatin here : http://www.whdownload.com/games/Upda...tatin_v1.0.zip
Oh and the game is on Amiga Classix 5 by Magnussoft... |

I do have a file called "Takado.adf" in my Non-TOSEC collection but considering TCD has access to my files it's probably the same one already uploaded...

I know the problem Damien Still hoping that someone gets it to work and that it's not a bad dump. Pretty rare game as it seems

Well, I do have the original, still sealed, if no working version appears. I'd just like to use it as a last resort. Unfortunately, my Amigas are kind of broken right now, so I probably could only dump it via Catweasel which in turn doesn't work very well from my limited experience with it :(

Regarding why the adf does not work, quote from HOL: "Game must be executed from WB, and contains a quit option."
As game is also made in 1988, you may need to first load up workbench 1.3 (or 1.2) (try both with only 512kb chip, and also 512kb chip+512kb slow ram) with A500 mode set to everything as compatible as possible to real machine. Try also both with and without cycle exact mode. Sorry don't have winuae here to try. EDIT: Just text editted the .adf and it seems like it may autoboot itself. But yeah as the game loads from workbench, just a suggestion as long as there is nothing special in bootblock or startup-sequence. |

There is a LoadWB in the startup-sequence, but I guess that's not enough. Will try it later from WB Thanks for the info Calgor

Let us know if it manages to load up the workbench. I would expect there to then be some icon inside the disk icon's window. Some of these old games (and cracks) have bootblocks which are not very compatible with slight differences in roms/ram/hardware.

It loads to a WB screen and you can start the game from there. On the first screen you can even hear some music, but after about 3 seconds the screen turns yellow, the power led flashes and the Amiga reboots without a guru. Will be interesting if it's the same with a full WB loaded first

Also try Gravity-Force by Kingsoft. It's my favorite!
