Connecting up my M-Audio USB Controller Keyboard with Octamed

I have an M-Audio Oxygen 49. It is connected to my PC via USB, Is it possible to use it with Octamed in Winuae? Or the same with my Access Virus TI that has Midi as well as USB. Would love to do some retro Midi stuff and get Octamed to control!

If it creates virtual serial port: select it in WinUAE IO ports panel MIDI boxes.

Gave it a go and WinUAE recognises my Oxygen 49 but sadly Octamed (the CU80 coverdisk) wont when I play it. Any one know what I am doing wrong please?

I can't help. I haven't used Midi/Octamed Midi previously. Perhaps there is some simple test program somewhere..

You can also keep log window open (run winuae from command prompt with -log command line parameter) and check if "Midi enabled" appears when program attempts to use midi.
