Updated Caps list for A4000D Skynet P/N 391173-02 COM-915C-2
Hi,
Does ANYONE have an updated ( non obsolete parts ) list of capacitors to recap the above mentioned power supply? I found this list below, but apparently some of the them are obsolete now, so I'm looking for modern replacements? C34 is populated on my 915-C with 1uF / 25V 5mm pitch as well. Everything else is as mentioned by utukku

Very helpful tyvm. Triple confirmed the above.fwiw the caps I removed were a little low in capacitance and the esr seemed high to me but I don't really know what a good esr is.
Example the 330uf 200v cap read 303uf and esr 0.26k ohm or 260ohms Last edited by AlfiesGames; 22 July 2022 at 04:55. |

+-10% on Capacitor Readings is standard and within tolerance.

Good to know. What about the esr? What are normal values for this.

ESR varies with the capacitor range/series, and is usually a little higher with lower value capacitors of a given range, but 260 ohms is very high indeed. For the capacitors used in the Amiga, I would expect them to be less than 1 ohm. Two random 470uF capacitors (different manufacturers) I just pulled from my parts stock have ESRs of 0.14 and 0.22 ohm, just to give you an idea.
