I am still holding out a tiny bit of hope that it is in fact real. But....
The information was originally spread on the 31th of march. It might be an april fools joke

Yep, it's just the old April Fools joke. So, nothing to see. Was confirmed as a joke on twitter back then. And the youtube clip is a very bad joke too. You should get it even without German language skills.

Since you can install Linux on the Switch (not easy but doable), you can install UAE and still get to play the previous Turrican opuses.

The next Turrican is actually since the N64 days in the making. ( under the name Tornado, because of copyright problems)
Then on the Gamecube ( but those Star Wars games got in the way,like in the N64 days ) There exists also a playable prototype of Turrican on the PS3 but then came the Finance meltdown n Stuff. They got the rights to the name back, and chris hülsbeck is ready ( he told me so ) Jullian Eggbrecht said 2019 should be the year to make "nägel mit köpfen" .. meaning, work on the next turrican (again) and this time for good !!!! Man, if i see Turrican reborn my heart will skip a beat (T_T) Hhhmm should it 2D ? should it 3D hmmmm.. should it 2/half D  man ohh man..... i would prefer 2D but thats maybe just me.Anyway, Turrican 2&1 will always have a special place in my heart. (yes i played all factor 5 Turricans but Turri 1&2 are the best imho) |

The Factor5 guys told me it's likely that they'll do a Turrican 4 for the Amiga... in the next 2-4 years.
