AMR is perhaps the best magazine resource of all formats today. It is a truly amazing work of art. I just hope that it lives forever.

P.S. If you need an off site backup I could bung some nice big drives in the post.

I remember in one of the mags I used to read (AF, CUAmiga or AP) there was a cock-up by the editor when he allowed a swear-word to be printed - in a caption, I think. The next edition featured a grovelling apology. Has this been scanned into your archive yet?

Or was it all a dream?

WooHoo! That's it! And in an article aimed at kid's software too!

Did anyone lose their job over this? Its understandable if they did - it was a huge cock-up.

There's a short trivia article about it in AMR, which also includes the apology that AF printed:

I noticed that the Amiga World offerings at AMR are a little anemic which is sad given that it was the most popular Amiga magazine in North America (circulation-wise). I have a complete set and will soon be scanning them in so I'll do them to meet AMR's requirements for inclusion. I can still upload them to the Usenet though, right? I like to spread the magazines around as widely as possible.

There is no exclusivity deal with the data you submit to AMR if that is what you are asking?
