Dopus5 catalog files
I want to translate Dopus5 to Turkish. Where do I find the catalog files?

I want to create catalogs from the source codes. Is there anyone who can help me? I don't know where to start.

Go to the source code repository at SourceForge here https://sourceforge.net/p/dopus5alla...AD/tree/trunk/
From here you check all subdirectories in source directory for files ending with .cd. These files contain english texts that you can import into catalog editor. You can also go directly into catalogs directory and take contents of eg. deutsch subdirectory. These .ct files can be also imported into catalog editor. These files are actually text files that, except translations, also contain English original texts as comments. You can open this file as a English reference in any text editor/viewer and create your catalog with catalog editor. There is also a chance that one of these catalog editors will show the comments from a .ct file, so you could work directly on these files. |

Thanks I have a question though which is confusing me.
The german translated Dopus.ct file (which has many errorenous translations for some reason) has many more entries than the Dopus.cd file that inside the sources. Here is the dopus.cd file: https://sourceforge.net/p/dopus5alla...ogram/dopus.cd Here is the German ct file: https://sourceforge.net/p/dopus5alla...utsch/dopus.ct Which one should I choose to edit? |

It seems like SimpleCat does not load all entries of dopus.cd

I translated all the strings to Turkish but this does not work properly and crashed Dopus. I can see different strings appearing on irrelevant places.
What did I do wrong? Here's the archive containing the turkish mtl, cd, ct and catalog files Last edited by ancalimon; 08 August 2020 at 10:40. |

I just figured that my translation file was cut off when exporting with simplecat...
But looking at the dopus.ct files here: https://sourceforge.net/p/dopus5alla...runk/catalogs/ and comparing them with the dopus.cd file It looks like many of the translations are either repeated at irrelevant places, or some text is translated irrelevantly. I'm now trying to corrupt mine like those ct files. |

The foreign CT files in the sources are all corrupt. I created the turkish dopus.ct by hand since I could not make any catalog tool work properly to export the dopus.cd to a ct file.
