Roadie question..

Hello @indigolemon
I like your Roadie app very much, especially the env variable online/offline

Is it possible to run Roadie already in background without popup at the beginning? I am starting Roadie in network-startup after Roadshow is initialized. I tried CX_POPOUT=NO in tooltypes and in command line bot not works.

Why Roadie delays to close when I am clicking close gadget?

Thanks!!

Hey, glad you like Roadie and find it useful

The tooltype to start hidden is:

Code:
CX_POPUP=NO
As it's a commodity, it's designed to be put in your WBStartup drawer in SYS: - is there a reason you want to start it from network-startup?

I'm afraid I'm not sure what you mean by the delay to close when you click the close gadget? Can you elaborate?

Cheers!

Hi again, thanks for reply.. Ok now its working
I tried earlier to put it in wbstartup, I think I also set tool type to CX_POPUP=NO
but now I unchecked "wait until finished", maybe that helped..

so now I can remove it from network-startup - I thought that Roadie should run after Roadshow init..

When I was clicking at close gadget it was a delay before the window disapeard.
But I think its ok right now, maybe a little delay.. no problem

thanks for your help

Ah yes! That would definitely help You want it to keep running in the background so waiting would be bad!

Glad you got it sorted
