Convert extended ADF to IPF

Hey, I had in my childhood a good game called Tony & Friends in Kellogg's Land.
Now I want it so badly to play it on my real Amiga 500.
The problem is there is only a 880KB-image which is really poor cracked (don't worry, it's a freeware-game - just kind of MFM) English version
It runs only with 2MB RAM and the unaltered original game runs with 512KB RAM.

But unfortunately there's only a extended more than 2MB ADF-Image (because it contains MFM).
My question: Is there any way to convert it to convert this one to an IPF-image? I've got Kryoflux and I could write it then on real floppys.

I would be really glad if someone finds a way for it. There's also a WHDLoad version of this game avaible but I guess this is even harder to bring it back on a floppy.
Since the game is freeware and you're welcome to copy it (says the game ingame) I attached it to this post.

File Type: zip Tony.zip (953.8 KB, 177 views)

I have that game (from HorneSoft PD)
It says (Boot Screen) :

PRODiGY
Sometimes they come back with
Tony & Friends from Kelloggsland
from Factor 5 !

The legendary suppliers were Nitro & Razor
Perfectly cracked by THE BEST !

and later says it is "German Commercial Freeware"

I have just made DMS and ADF Images of it
Just quick tested the adf in UAE --- Seems OK

#EDIT#
But as you say Not on a A500
I even had that scrawled on the disk

Yes the English cracked version needs unfortunately 2MB RAM. The original game needs just 512KB.
That's why I want to have that extended ADF converted to IPF.
I've got a whdload version of this game too, maybe someone could try to create an IPF image from that.

the solution is using Powercopy. This game doesn't use tracks too long. the only thing is to find the Sync word for each track.

EDIT : the sync word for each track out of the first one, is $9521.

extended ADF in IPF is _forbidden_. IPF are only for original inaltered floppy disk content. Extended ADF are copies

I have no clue how to do that. If I understood you right it's possible to get a floppy disk from that extended ADF-image using Powercopy?
If yes could you please try it? I'm really sorry if my guess is wrong.
Or is that tool if I had the original disk? Sadly I don't own this nice freeware game. : (

Can't you use the KryoFlux FREE software in WinUAE to create an image file which can then be written to disk with the real KryoFlux?

Sounds doable I guess. Can you explain it me more? I'm not really sure how to create from that 2MB extended ADF another image. And this new image should be IPF since the default ADF format doesn't contain informations about MFM.
BTW: Nice to meet another German guy.

What about the wwarp image rgen posted a few years ago? I still have it. Maybe you can write it back via the wwarp tool. Never tried that. Disk image is uploaded to the Zone.

You can't (yet) write images made with KFree back to disk. They're for submitting images to the SPS team (or playing in WinUAE ).

@dlfrsilver: What do you've written with Powercopy? Is there any chance to do more with the extended ADF besides playing on an emulator?

There exist a whdload version of this game. Is it possible to get the floppy from that?
Retro-Nerd: Could you try for me to get any floppy from that?

And how do I load that whdload on my real Amiga 500 (1MB RAM)?

Why not trying the WWarp image in the Zone? According to the WWarp readme it could work fine, if you prepare the .wwp image properly.

Quote:
* to write back an image:
for that are usually multiple steps necessary because you have to say WWarp
how to write back the track data.
first step:
'wwarp filename f' - that command forces WWarp to try to decode all
tracks, thats recommended because WWarp by default saves standard AmigaDos
tracks in decoded format only if the mfm data is absolutely clean. most
format programs are weak in their job, e.g. formatting not the full track
to save some miliseconds or do not init the sector headers correctly.
because such differences could be used as a copy protection WWarp saves
such tracks as raw by default. anyway usually you can use the F(orce)
command to ignore such specials.
second step:
'wwarp filename y 2-159 9521000044&ffff0000ff' - set the sync, that must
be done for all tracks which are not detected as a supported format by
WWarp. WWarp needs that information to know where the track data starts.
You should make sure that the specified sync is only one time contained
on the track, otherwise WWarp may start on the wrong sector. If the disk
format uses multiple sectores you have to set the sync that it refers the
first sector after the inter sector gap. For example if you would like to
write back a standard AmigaDOS track (which is unnecessary because WWarp
knows that format ;-) you had to use:
448944895500000555000001&ffffffffff000055ff000055
third step:
'wwarp filename l 2-159 $3050' - set the write length, that step is optional
but recommended, WWarp needs that information to know how many bytes must
be written to the disk. when writing WWarp will check if your drive is
capable of writing the requested amount of bytes, e.g. it will say you if
you try to write a long track on a normal drive
if you don't set the length WWarp will write as much bytes as possible
depending on the drive speed
forth step:
'wwarp filename w' - that will write back the tracks to disk, if you have
prepared the wwarp file correctly and there are no specials preventing the
write back operation you will have another duplicate of your original and
saved this piece of software history for your sons and daughters

* to check if the right sync has been set use:
wwarp filename d 2-159 ,,32
which will display the first 32 mfm bytes of the selected tracks, you will
also see if the sync has been found and if its present multiple times

@Retroplay: Wait you've made anyhow an floppy? If yes could you explain that? And can I do that on my Amiga 500 with 1MB RAM?

@Retro-Nerd: I guess I don't really understand the tutorial. At least I don't know all the data like write lenght.
